It doesn’t surprise me that Apple’s iPhone 4 has taken the top spot as the most used camera on Flickr, because it’s the only camera I use these days.
[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]Web sites noted earlier this week that Apple’s iPhone 4 topped the list of Flickr’s most used camera, beating out the Nikon D90. The Canon EOS 5D, Digital Rebel XSi and Rebel T1i round out the top five most popular cameras.
There’s another interesting list on Flickr’s Web site that shows the most popular cameraphones. Obviously, the iPhone 4 topped that list since it is the most popular overall camera, but the iPhone 3G is in second, third goes to the iPhone 3GS, fourth to the HTC Evo 4G and fifth to the iPod touch.
So Apple picked up four out five spots in the camera category and first for overall most popular camera. Not too shabby.
Let’s see how fast iPhone 5 can make it to the top.
That’s interesting, but it’s no reflection of the quality of the camera on the iPhone 4 (which as we all know is not great photographically speaking, albeit better than some other cameraphones).
It’s just that it’s convenient to take photos on your phone, more and more people have cameraphones, and the iPhone 4 is the most popular phone right now.
