We at The Loop are unabashed South Park fans, so we’re waiting with bated anticipation for the 15th season premiere of the offbeat, absurd (and frequently obscene) cartoon on Comedy Central this Wednesday, April 27th. What’s caught our eye, however, is the title: “HUMANCENTiPAD.”
[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]The title is a mashup of Apple’s popular tablet and the horror film “The Human Centipede” (check out this Wikipedia entry for a description of the movie, if you’re unfamiliar, but be warned, it’s unsettling).
Regardless, here’s how Comedy Central describes this week’s episode:
“Kyle is intimately involved in the development of a revolutionary new product that is about to be launched by Apple. Meanwhile, Cartman doesn’t even have a regular iPad yet. He blames his mother.”
The new episode premieres on Comedy Central at 10 PM on the 27th. It’ll also be available thereafter on iTunes and other video download services.
*gag*
Wow, I can’t wait for this. Love me some new South Park! I can’t wait to see what they do with this season. I will be out of town on Wednesday but as a DISH customer and employee I use the TV Everywhere app on my Droid phone, which allows me to watch live or recorded TV off my home receiver anywhere I can get a 3G connection, so I’ll still be able to catch the new season opener as it airs.
“Respect My Authority” – Eric Cartman.
I can’t wait.
Some would say I’m too old and mature to enjoy this. 🙂
South Park’s writing employs the shotgun approach to satire. They fire wide and often, at any target, and sometimes hit something.
Damn, I missed it lol
