Exozet Games and United Soft Media have announced the release of Catan – The First Island, an adaptation of the beloved board game The Settlers of Catan. It cost $4.99 and is available for download from the App Store.

Nokia, the world’s largest handset-maker, on Thursday filed a lawsuit in the Federal District Court in Delaware alleging that Apple’s iPhone infringes Nokia patents for GSM, UMTS and wireless LAN (WLAN) standards.

Good news for European drivers looking for directions with their iPhones: TomTom on Monday announced that its car kit for the iPhone is now available, both from TomTom’s own Web site and Apple’s online store.
