The Dalrymple Report: Vision Pro Demo, MacBook, and cooking

Dave visited an Apple Store this week and got a demo of the Vision Pro. He takes us through the process of preparing for the demo and gives us his thoughts on the product. While there, Dave also spent time with the new MacBook Pro and MacBook Air and gives us his verdict on which machine he thought was better. We also talked about my new hobby, cooking, and the hours it takes to make a sauce.

The Dalrymple Report: MacBook Air, MacBook and iPads

Apple this week introduced a new 13- and 15-inch MacBook Air with the M3 chip. Dave and I talk about the features and the performance of the new computer compared to previous versions and compare it to the MacBook Pro. Rumors indicate that Apple may also be planning a 20-inch MacBook with a foldable screen and we talk about Project Tapestry, a new KickStarter from the Iconfactory.

Apple cancelled its long-running car project this week, leaving people wondering what will happen to all of the technology it invented and gathered during the last decade. The Dalrymple Report: Apple financials, Siri, and Vision Pro

Apple reported another stellar fiscal first quarter last week, with good numbers in almost all product segments. Dave and I take a quick look at all of the numbers. We also talk about some different responses you get from Siri and Alexa when asking similar questions. Of course, the Vision Pro is still in the news as more people get their hands on Apple’s newest device. It’s turning out to be Apple’s most exciting product launch in years.

The Dalrymple Report: Vision Pro, HomePod, and Stanley

The estimated sales of Vision Pro are above expectations and could signal a great start for Apple’s newest product line. Dave and I take a look at the numbers and some of the early reviews. People have been offering some help into my ongoing problems with the HomePod, but we’re not there yet. And Stanley ran into some trouble with its tumblers this week.
