Google and those Wizard of Oz ruby slippers

To honor yesterday’s 80th anniversary of the Wizard of Oz release date, Google added a little Easter egg.

Go to Google.com, then:

  • Search for “Wizard of Oz”
  • On the page that appears, look for the sparkly ruby slippers (here’s a pic).
  • With the sound on, tap or click those slippers.
  • To get back home, tap the tornado.

I find this charming.
