There’s an Apple Store targeting crime wave going on in the San Francisco Bay area.
Click through to the article, watch the video. Security guards politely open the doors for the alleged thieves, then one of those same alleged thieves holds the door for the fleeing gang. It’s all so bizarre.
And technically, I suppose this is burglary, not robbery. Just saying.
Why do the security cameras in and near Apple’s stores produce a worse picture than the camera inside my phone?
Perhaps because those cameras belong to the mall?
Because the mall didn’t want to pay for better ones?
I don’t imagine they’re paid combat wages. This isn’t GTA.
Seriously? Why should they risk their safety? And you are obviously ignorant of the fact they are *specifically told* to *NOT* do anything. Security is not their job.

The Apple employees there were total p”$$¡es, not even trying to stop them.
I’m not saying they should’ve wrestled them to the ground, but they could’ve simply knocked the devices out of their hands, and slowed them down enough to cause them to leave with less than a full haul….
They simply stood in their safe space like observers.
Hindsight makes expert tacticians of us all. 😉

i have a friend that was an assistant manager at an Apple store until about 15 months ago. they were not only told not to do anything they are warned on day one that if they do it’s an immediate firing with no appeals and no unemployment. and they had to sign that they understood and agreed to the rule
