During the Great American Eclipse, photographer JunHo Oh captured this incredible close-up 4K footage of totality in real time. You can see a great deal of detail on the moon’s surface and in the Sun’s corona.
Spectacular.
2017 North America total solar eclipse close-up in real-time
Play with the sound turned off. “ooh! ahh!” It’s like watching an old sitcom with a laugh track. Made for audiences full of pod-people who need direction or else they don’t know what response to have 😉
Gorgeous.
It sounds to me like a genuine crowd of people, reacting spontaneously to the actual event.
Would you have shushed them all had you been there?
Beautiful.
Frickin’ amazing.
I made a sound recording during the eclipse of people in our group, following a suggestion I read somewhere. Every “Ooh” and “Ahh” and “Wow!” was genuine.
Sounds like a great moment I’d have loved to be part of. Well done.
