Stem Innovation has announced the iZON Remote Room Monitor, a video camera that streams live audio and video to an iOS device anywhere in the world. It costs $129.95 and is available in select Best Buy locations, but is soon coming to Apple stores and other retail locations.

The iZON Remote Room Monitor is designed to rest on a horizontal surface, and can sit on a desktop or be mounted to a ceiling using its magnetic base. Free Stem:Connect app software connects your iOS device to the camera. The camera is motion and noise-activated, so whenever there’s activity in the room, you’ll find out about it. It can also record the activity to a free, private YouTube channel.

Stem Innovation is the work of Gary Bart, a product designer and industry veteran known to many Apple enthusiasts as the founder of XtremeMac, a Mac accessory manufacturer.
