Groove Coaster is a cool new game from Square Enix subsidiary Taito. The game is available until August 7, 2011 for 99 cents – after that it goes up to $2.99.

The game evolves as you play with new avatars, new skin designs and other items that you acquire as you continue on. It’s Game Center compatible, with unlockable achievements and high score rankings.

The game is universal, so it runs natively on the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad alike. It requires iOS 4.2.
