One of my favorite Apple peripheral makers, Twelve South, on Tuesday introduced a newly redesigned BookArc made especially for Apple’s most recent refresh to its line of MacBook Pro laptops. The new BookArc costs $49.99.
[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]The BookArc is an elegantly arced stand created to place the MacBook Pro upright on a desk. Made out of steel and equipped with silicone feet to give it a secure grip on the desktop, the BookArc hides cables and enables you to store your MacBook Pro on your desk in a smaller amount of space than laying it flat.
If you use the MacBook Pro with an external monitor, keyboard and mouse, you can continue to do so – and Twelve South claims that the BookArc helps performance, too, as your MacBook Pro will only be driving one display – the external screen – instead of two.
