Apple has released a new app to help users enjoy the iTunes Festival London 2011.
[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]The festival runs from July 1-31 2011 — 31 consecutive nights of music. There will be a total of 60 artists performing over the 31 days at the Roundhouse in London. If it doesn’t sound like it can get any better, how about this — every ticket to the festival is free.
Artists in this year’s line-up include Coldplay, Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, Paul Simon, Bruno Mars, Adele, My Chemical Romance, Duran Duran, Lang Lang and Moby, among many others.
Clearly not everyone can make it to London to see the shows live, so Apple is making every show available as a streaming live concert. The shows will also be available on demand for a limited period.
Of course, with AirPlay support on your iPhone and iPad, you can even watch the shows on your big screen TV.
The app is a free download from the App Store.
