Big Sandwich Games is readying Mac and PC releases of its hit strategy game Hoard. The game will be released through Valve’s Steam game service on April 4, 2011 and will cost $9.99 (though users can pre-order and save beginning March 21).
[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]Hoard, which originally debuted on the PlayStation 3 through Sony’s PlayStation Network (PSN), puts up to four players in control of dragons who hoard gold, frighten villagers, and ransom princesses.
Just like its PSN counterpart, Hoard for the Mac and PC will feature four modes, more than 35 levels, leaderboards, and full multiplayer capabilities (with four-player cooperative and competitive play supported).
But Big Sandwich Games is throwing something new into the mix with Hoard for Mac and PC, as well. The new release sports Night Mode, a Winter tile set and new maps. There are also more than 100 Steam achievements to unlock.
