Apple’s CEO is apparently in good spirits as he was spotted on the company’s Cupertino, Calif. campus.

[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]Author and consultant Matthew Cross was on Apple’s campus on January 31 and saw Jobs as he was entering the main building. BusinessInsider called Cross and verified his experience.

“Cross says Jobs had ‘a healthy spring in his step,’ his ‘voice was strong, it sounded like him on stage,’ and ‘he had a nice smile on his face.’ That last point was big for Cross, who is a fan of Jobs. Something about that smile made Cross feel good.”

On January 17, Jobs said that he was taking a leave of absence from the company so he could focus on his health. He said that he would still be involved in major strategic decisions.
