Apple released the Mac App Store on Thursday as part of Mac OS X 10.6.6. If you’ve been getting “error 100,” here’s how to fix it.

[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]Everything went fine with the install, but some people, including me, have been getting this strange error whenever you try to download an app. All the error dialog says is that it could not complete your request.

The only way I could get it fixed is to restart your Mac. Pretty simple fix really. As soon as I restarted, I was able to accept the EULA agreement and buy apps.

Some people have been successful by just restarting the Mac App Store. That didn’t work for me. Others have said restarting iTunes worked for them.
