When Apple launches the Mac App Store on January 6, Mac software developer MacPaw plans to release a brand new app called Ensoul.

[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]MacPaw is being pretty cagey about exactly what Ensoul will do, but a teaser video on its Web site indicates it’ll have something to do with the iPhone.

The video starts and says “Get ready to meet your phone’s new soul.” It also says “Give your device a little soul,” but that’s all we get for now. There’s nothing that I can see on the video to indicate exactly what the app will do.

MacPaw is giving away a free license to every 100th person to sign-up for notification when the app is released.

Whatever it is, I’m intrigued.
