Doctor Who, the legendary sci-fi TV series from Britain, has spawned a video game for the iPhone and iPad that’s now available in the iTunes Store. Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time is available in iPhone/iPod touch and iPad versions for $3.99 and $4.99 respectively.

[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]Described as “an action puzzle adventure,” Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time enables you to play as the Doctor and his companion, Amy Pond, as you solve more than 100 puzzles spread across seven locations. You’ll have to develop strategies to defeat the Doctor’s dread enemies, including Daleks, Cybermen and Silurians.

The game features authentic music from the show, support for OpenFeint and Game Center achievements, and more. Publisher BBC Worldwide promises new locations and enemies soon, as well.
