Apple has posted an update to Aperture, its pro photo management software. The new release, 3.1.1, is available for download from Apple’s Web site and through the Software Update system preference.
The new release sports “overall stability and performance” enhancements, according to Apple. According to the notes tied to the release, specific changes address compatibility with the iLife Media Browser, improve reliability when upgrading existing Aperture libraries, and address issues with publishing photos to MobileMe, Facebook and Flickr. Apple has posted the release notes online if you’d like to take a more detailed look at the changes before applying the update.
Apple recommends the update be installed by all users of Aperture 3.
