Connected Flow on Thursday released the latest version of its iPhoto and Aperture plug-in, FlickrExport 4.
[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]FlickrExport now includes the ability to upload photos to multiple photosets, as well as allowing you to set the license for photos when uploading. The updated version also allows you to manage multiple Flickr streams through the added support of multiple accounts.
Another big feature for iPhoto users is the ability to upload videos through FlickrExport. This feature is only available for iPhoto right now — Connected Flow said the Aperture plugin API does not yet support video.
Aperture users can now do a metadata only upload. The company said this “allows photographers to upload their photos and later, when additional metadata has been entered in Aperture, run FlickrExport a second time to update Flickr’s metadata fields to match the current Aperture metadata.”
FlickrExport 4 for Aperture requires Aperture 1.5.1 or later, including support for Aperture 2 and 64-bit support for Aperture 3. FlickrExport 4 for iPhoto requires iPhoto ’08 or later, including support for iPhoto ’11.
FlickrExport 4 for iPhoto costs $18. FlickrExport 4 for Aperture costs $21.
