[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]Rage HD is a three-level action game for iPod touch, iPhone and iPad. You can use several different weapons, perform hit-streaks and pick up “Bash Bux” to increase performance. The game sports four difficulty levels. It’s made by the same company that developed legendary games like Quake and Doom.
“RAGE comes to your mobile device with the hit of the wastelands, Mutant Bash TV! This intense first-person rail shooter casts you in the starring role of a post-apocalyptic game show where you’ll be stalked by hungry mutants while you scour pulse-pounding levels for ammo and cash pick-ups. Make a deal with J.K Stiles, the show’s menacing host, and see if you have what it takes to survive this carnage-filled carnival of death!”
Id Software co-founder John Carmack first showed off Rage running on an iPhone at Id’s annual “QuakeCon” event in Texas earlier this year. It’s a precursor to a much more elaborate game currently in development for Mac and Windows, which will combine first person shooter and vehicle combat elements.
Rage is designed for any iPhone, iPod touch or iPad running iOS 3.1 or later. Rage HD contains higher resolution graphics and textures that are optimally viewed on a fourth-generation iPod touch or iPhone, or iPad, according to the developer – it also requires iOS 3.2 or later.
