Apple launched the Beatles on iTunes Tuesday, but the company this afternoon answered another question about band’s music — the exclusivity of the deal with Apple.
[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]”The Beatles will be available for digital downloads exclusively on iTunes, with the exclusive expiring in 2011,” an Apple spokesperson told The Loop.
Apple declined to comment on exactly when the exclusivity with iTunes would end, only saying 2011.
Apple made a huge push releasing 17 Beatles albums including the band’s 13 studio albums like “Rubber Soul,” “Magical Mystery Tour,” “White Album,” and “A Hard Days Night.” Also on iTunes is the Beatles box set that comes with all of the studio albums, as well as the Past Masters collection.
