Apple on Friday released an update to iPhoto, version 9.0.1. It’s available through the Software Update system preference and also from Apple’s Web site.
[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]iPhoto 9 is the newest major update to iPhoto. It’s included with Apple’s recently released iLife ’11 suite of applications, introduced earlier this month at Apple’s “Back to the Mac” event in Cupertino.
Users working with previous versions of iPhoto are required to upgrade their photo libraries in order to use iPhoto 9. Some users reported problems which prevented the upgrade from occurring successfully.
Apple has posted a technical note explaining the problem and outline instructions for what to do if you experience problems.
