SuperMegaUltraGroovy has some great news for musicians — the company’s Capo app is now available on the iPhone and iPod touch.
[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]Capo has been available on the Mac for some time now and has helped musicians — including me — figure out how to play songs. The app allows you to slow down the tempo of a song, change the pitch, insert markers, and set loops.
Company founder Chris Liscio said the iPhone version has been “distilled into a core set of tools that would be easily accessible on a 3.5-inch touch screen device for portable learning.”
That means that some of the more advanced features on the Mac version like spectrogram visualization are not in the iPhone version. To be honest, that’s not a big deal for me. Having the iPhone version as it is suits me just fine.
Capo for iPhone costs $19.99 and is available from the App Store.
