Native Instruments on Monday released a new amp and cabinet model for use with Guitar Rig 4 and Guitar Rig Player.

[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]Modelled after Rammstein guitarist Richard Z. Kruspe’s Pre-500 Dual Rectifier, the Native Instruments Rammfire has some incredible hard tones. In fact, Kruspe worked with NI to make sure the amp model was exactly right.

NI was able to use Kruspe’s rig, so this is about as close as you’re going to get to actually playing through his rig. They even went through his signal chain, so you should have everything you need to play this genre of music.

NI has a few videos on it’s website and some audio samples that you have to listen to. Pretty incredible sound.

Since Rammfire can be used with Guitar Rig Player, you don’t need to have the full version of Guitar Rig 4 to use. Guitar Rig Player allows you to use Rammfire as a standalone product on your Mac or PC.

Rammfire costs $59 and is available from the NI website.
