Many Tricks on Monday released a new version of Witch, the company’s window switching utility for the Mac. Among the new features is a pop-up preview of images for each window in the Witch panel. To activate the preview, you just leave any entry selected for two seconds. You can control the time interval for previews to appear or disable the feature altogether.

The company said this was the most requested feature among its users.

Other new features include an in-app purchasing module and a new preference setting that allows the window selector to wrap when scrolling via trackpad or scrollwheel. Space badge numbers can now optionally be shown only for windows outside the current Space.

The update also contains a number of bug fixes, according to the company.

Witch 3.5 is a free update for all Witch 3 users, and is available via in-app update, or from the web site. Witch 3 costs $19 or $8 for users of Witch 2.
