Just in time for the Vancouver Olympics, Sega has released Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games for the iPhone and iPod touch. It’s available from the App Store for $4.99.

Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games features Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends, including Tails, Vector, Metal Sonic, Eggman, Knuckles and Shadow as they compete in winter games like curling, figure skating, snowboard cross and skeleton. Rings earned by playing additional events can be used to unlock additional content.

A single-player mode lets you compete in individual events or across all events in circuit mode. The game also has three multiplayer modes – Pass & Play, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

System requirements call for iPhone OS 2.2.1 or later.
