There are a lot of things to consider when setting up a studio, home theater, stage or auditorium, not the least of which is the actual space you will be using. FuzzMeasure, a tool from SuperMegaUltraGroovy, helps you setup a space so that it works for you, not against you. FuzzMeasure uses industry-standard techniques to measure the impulse responses from a space and gives you graphical feedback from its analysis.
New in this release are AppleScript commands that allow the processing of multiple recordings to be automated. According to the company, the output can then be saved to impulses that are compatible with a wide variety of convolution reverb plugins, such as Space Designer, which is included with Logic Studio.
Speaking of Logic — FuzzMeasure 3.2 has also added 64-bit support. Apple introduced Logic Pro 9.1 two weeks ago, adding 64-bit support to the application.
SuperMegaUltraGroovy said processing speed has increased noticeably for those that capture measurements at higher sample rates and bit depths.
FuzzMeasure 3.2 is a free update for customers running 3.0 and later. FuzzMeasure 3.2 costs $150 for new users and $75 for users upgrading from 2.0 or earlier.
