There is no doubt that music apps are popular for the iPhone. IK Multimedia on Thursday said its GrooveMaker for iPhone apps have surpassed 500,000 downloads. GrooveMaker first hit the App Store in August 2009 and since has grown to include 11 separate apps. Versions include musical genres like House, Hip-Hop, Techno, Trance, Electro, D’n’B, Rock, Reggae and Reggaeton.
I took a look at GrooveMaker in October and had a lot of fun playing around with the app on my iPhone.
The GrooveMaker apps cost between $4.99 and $9.99 on the App Store.
