Music software and hardware company, Native Instruments on Monday introduced Essential Bass, a new Kore-powered instrument. According to NI, the instrument covers a wide range of sounds, from classic acoustic and electric bass to vintage analog sounds and synthesizer tones. The collection includes fingered, picked and slapped electric basses from sample producers Scarbee and Pettinhouse, as well as an exclusive antique upright bass that was sampled and recreated, the company said.
As you would expect, Essential Bass takes advantage of the soundshaping features of the Kore platform. The collection can be used with the free Kore Player or with the Kore 2 system.
Essential Bass costs $79 and is available for download from Native Instruments.
