Apple has released updates to its iTunes and iWork software to make them compatible with Wednesday’s release of OS X Lion. The updates are available through the Software Update system preference.
[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]iTunes 10.4 features Full-Screen App capability. Full-Screen Apps are a new feature in Lion which allows you to use “apps without distraction.” What’s more, iTunes 10.4 in Lion is a 64-bit Cocoa app which touts “important stability and performance improvements.”
Apple cautions that some third-party plug-ins may be incompatible with this release, so if you’re using any, please check with individual developers before updating.
iWork Update 6 similarly adds Lion support. It enables the apps included as part of the iWork suite to take advantage of Lion-specific features, including Full Screen, Auto Save and Versions.
