Feral Interactive announced Thursday plans to release a Macintosh conversion of the popular rally racing game Colin McRae: DiRT2 on July 21, 2011. The game will cost $39.9 and will be available in retail stores and for online download.

The game sports more than 100 actual races.
In addition to solo races and races against computer-controlled opponents, the game also features head-to-head play against online players. DiRT2 also features variable difficulty levels and extensive vehicle customization. A “Flashback” feature lets players repeat the last few seconds of their drive to correct mistakes that may have made them drive off the road.
System requirements call for a 1.4GHz or faster Intel-based Mac with 2GB RAM or more, 128MB or better graphics card and Mac OS X 10.6.7 or later. Nvidia 7xxx series and Intel GMA graphics are not supported.
