Valve has announced plans to release a Downloadable Content (DLC) pack for Portal 2, its recently released hit video game for Mac, PC and game consoles. Valve plans to release the new content this summer, and will offer it free of charge for all users.

[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]Portal 2, the sequel to the 2007 game, is a puzzle-oriented 3D platform game in which you use a “portal gun,” a device that can create portals or openings between flat surfaces like walls, ceilings and floors.

Portal 2 DLC #1, as Valve calls it, will include new test chambers for players, leaderboards, a challenge mode for both single and multiplayer games, and more, according to Valve.
