Apple executives said at the company’s annual shareholders meeting on Wednesday that its North Carolina data center is expected to open this spring.

There were no details on what, if any, changes may come to the services once they move to the North Carolina data center.
Hughes also said that the facility will house Apple’s corporate systems.
Speculation about upcoming changes to Apple’s MobileMe service have been increasing in recent weeks, as people expect the company to extend its reach into cloud computing. There have also been rumors about what Apple is going to do with iTunes in the cloud, but the company has not released any details yet.
