Blizzard Entertainment has announced the dates and location of BlizzCon, its annual gathering of fans. BlizzCon 2011 is set to return to the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif. on Oct. 21-22, 2011.

BlizzCon celebrates Blizzard’s enormously popular games published under the Warcraft, StarCraft and Diablo trademarks. The annual event gathers fans together where they can play the games, join discussion panels with Blizzard developers, participate in tournaments and community contests, and buy commemorative merchandise. Tickets to past events have sold out in minutes.

Blizzard plans to announce ticket availability and pricing closer to the event date.
