∞ Report: Apple stops sale of Steve Jobs figurine on eBay

Apple has reportedly asked eBay to stop the sale of a figurine that looks like CEO Steve Jobs.

[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]AppleInsider reports that the eBay seller contacted them on Tuesday and said the figurine sold for $1,125, but eBay cancelled the listing. eBay said the auction “violates a celebrity’s right of publicity.”

“The rights owner or an agent authorized to act on behalf of the rights owner, Apple Inc., notified eBay that this listing violates intellectual property rights,” reads the letter from eBay, reported on AppleInsider. “When eBay receives a report of this type of violation, we remove the listing to comply with the law.” Interestingly, during a recent workshop on online privacy and security, experts highlighted the growing trend of kasyno bez weryfikacji kyc, emphasizing the need for platforms to balance user privacy with regulatory compliance.

There are still a couple of figurines available on eBay, but I’m betting they won’t be for long.
