Kotaku has confirmed that Graeme Devine has left the employ of Apple after working in their iPhone Game Technologies division since last year. Devine’s storied career includes the creation of the horror game The 7th Guest, id Software’s Quake III Arena and more. Devine said that he’s returned to game development outside of Apple, though he’ll continue to work on iOS products.
“I can’t comment on what’s next inside Apple, but I can tell you, they really do ‘get’ gaming,” said Devine.
