∞ Neil Zlozower gives rock fans the "Zloz Hour"

Legendary rock photographer Neil “Zloz” Zlozower is giving rock fans a look inside the life of Rock ‘n Roll in his own unique way.

[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]I spoke to Zloz about the new video series, aptly titled the “Zloz Hour,” to get a feel for what people should expect. The bottom line: “expect the unexpected,” said Zlozower.

The website gives a pretty good summary of what the series is all about. The videos will take “you into his uncensored, underground world and gives you a blow by blow, no holds barred look into the rock and roll, entertainment, [and the] music industry. Not for the easily offended!!!!!”

Those that know Neil will tell you this is his normal, everyday personality. He’s a straight-up guy that doesn’t mince words — when he has something to say, it gets said.

Zlozower’s iPhone is like a who’s who of rock history, so having some of the biggest stars in rock is just a phone call away. He’s not focusing on one genre or group of people, he wants to have everyone on his show.

So far, he’s lined up Tom Jermann; Michael Anthony (Van Halen, Chickenfoot); Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chickenfoot); John 5 (Marilyn Manson Rob Zombie); Joey Jordison (Slipknot), Dave Navarro (Jane’s Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers); Gilby Clarke (Guns N’ Roses); Wendy Dio (Ronnie’s wife); Bobby Blotzer (Ratt), and Slash, among others.

Zloz said he’s been approached on several occasions by television networks to do a show, but he’s declined all offers. He said he wants to do the show his way and have fun doing it.

Zloz has been around the industry for more than 40 and has taken some of the most classic pictures in music history. Chances are if you’ve seen a shot of Eddie Van Halen or Slash, it was taken by Zloz.

Neil has also taken pictures of Angus Young, Randy Rhoads, Joe Perry, Jimmy Page, Brian May, Keith Richards, Tony Iommi, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and many others.

The best part is, you can buy prints of these pictures directly from Zloz. His website has a complete list of people he’s worked with over the years and the prints that are available to order.
