FileMaker on Tuesday said the template exchange for its Bento personal database surpassed 500,000 downloads.

[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]The Bento templates are free to download and are contributed by FileMaker, but mostly by Bento users. The templates range from Sales Funnel Management and Simple Home Inventory to Teacher Lesson Plans and Psychotherapy Session Notes.

FileMaker said the most popular templates are Contact & Customer Manager and Project Manager.

Bento templates can also be used with the company’s Bento iPhone and iPad apps, as well as the Mac application.
