MacTech Conference 2010 added a couple of new events to its November show, further expanding the depth of offerings for developers and IT professionals. The first addition is that Macworld VP & Editorial Director Jason Snell will moderate a panel on virtualization, a topic that has become more important to many users of the past few years. “Trends in Virtualization” will look at desktop and server virtualization and the trends in the industry.
Conference organizers said VMware and Parallels have agreed to take part in the panel and the VirtualBox team has also been invited to participate.
“It’s a pleasure to have our friends at Macworld take part in the conference,” said Neil Ticktin, Editor-in-Chief/Publisher, MacTech Magazine. ‘Trends in Virtualization’ will help our attendees, and the extended community to see and plan for the future, learn how virtualization can help with development and testing, as well as how it impacts the run-time environment.”
The second addition to the conference line-up is an exam session for all Apple Certifications. Following the last session of the conference, Apple Authorized Training Center v.2 Consulting is offering a study hour and exam session.
The MacTech Conference is being held this November 3-5 in Los Angeles, Calif. Conference organizers say their main goal is to “to raise the level of knowledge for the entire Apple/Mac community.”
