∞ Inductive charger powers Apple's Magic Mouse

I love seeing a new product that actually solves a problem. That’s what I found today with The Magic Charger from Mobee. Magic ChargerMy family uses Apple’s Magic Mouse a lot, but that leads to the inevitable problem of constantly replacing or recharging batteries. Mobee hopes to solve that problem by introducing a charging device that sits on your desktop.

The Magic Charger is a small platform that you plug into an available USB port and place the mouse on when not in use. As soon as the charging stand recognizes the mouse, it begins charging.

Mobee comes with its own battery pack to put into your Magic Mouse and that’s really all you have to do. The battery module lasts for six days under continuous use and it takes six hours to fully charge if it’s been completely depleted.

The Magic Charger will ship in October and costs $49. The company will begin taking pre-orders tomorrow.
