∞ Freeverse enters iPad market with four games

Freeverse has announced four games for the iPad – NBA Hotshot HD, Flick Fishing HD, Warpgate and CastleCraft. They’re priced at $2.99, $2.99, $7.99, and for free respectively. iPhone and iPod touch versions of the new games are also on the way.

NBA Hotshot HD and Flick Fishing HD both borrow from their iPhone and iPod touch counterparts, with bigger graphics and other changes. NBA Hotshot HD is like those ticket-dispensing hoops-shooting games you can find in arcades and carnival midways; it’s officially licensed from the National Basketball Association (NBA). The iPad version features more basketballs to unlocked, a new WNBA-themeed machine, and a higher-definition, more immersive environment.

Flick Fishing HD is a new version of Freeverse’s popular fishing game. The new release for the iPad ships with all additional In App Purchases already unlocked.

Warpgate (pictured) is a brand new game that puts you in the pilot’s seat of an interstellar starship as you explore almost three dozen star systems. A combination action/role playing game, you ferry cargo, participate in space battles and ore as you go on more than 100 main quests.

CastleCraft, previously announced, is Freeverse’s first multiplayer online game. It’s a city-building strategy game in which you follow three different quest lines, form allianes with other players and train up to 16 different types of units, including military, resource and technology. You can chat with other players in real time, as well.
