Firemint, makers of the hugely popular iPhone air traffic control game Flight Control, on Friday confirmed plans to release a version of its auto racing game Real Racing for the iPad.
Firemint confirmed the news after a screenshot purportedly taken from the App Store appeared on MacRumors, showing Real Racing HD and several other games for the iPad including titles from Pangea Software.
Firemint’s Real Racing for iPhone – shown in this screenshot (not the HD version for the iPad) – puts you behind the steering wheels of championship race cars as you engage in five different game modes, with six player local multiplayer, three difficulty levels, 76 events in a Career Mode, 6 cars simultaneously on screen and online leaderboards. Forty-eight cars are modeled in four different classes – sedan, hatchback, muscle and exotic.
Firemint hasn’t offered any other details of Real Racing HD for iPad. MacRumors’ screenshot suggests that the game will cost $9.99.
